BLENDED LEARNING COURSE
Online course run times range from 1 ½ hours to 3 hours, (PT1)
In Person Skills Check 2 ¼ Hours.* (pt2)
We look forward to assisting with your certification needs. Just a few things to make your appointment go smoothly.
1. The address is 901 H St Suite 505. Enter the building on the 9th St side. Use the intercom for Teach BLS or M Jackson to gain access. Building is secured.
2. Bring a copy of your online certification, Printed or screen shot will work, You can send it in advance to 916.494.3699 via text message.
3. Arrive on time. As we work by appointment and want to make sure we value everyone's time. Those that are over 10minutes late can use their reschedule insurance if it was purchased. If not you will have to pay the full amount to make a new appointment.
4. Our office is not large therefore we ask that you do not bring anyone who is not coming to be certified. They are welcome to wait in the car for you.
5. We send out ecards at the end of each class for those who are successful. Your card will come to the email address that you provide.

Who Should Take this class
Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED is intended for those involved in childcare who have a duty to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. This audience includes childcare workers, teachers, foster care workers, camp counselors, youth organizations, and coaches for children’s sports organizations. This course is also ideal for parents, grandparents, extended family, babysitters, and guardians. This blended learning course is Child Care approved. This course does not include EMSA stickers
Heartsaver Total – Comprehensive course designed for those requiring training to meet OSHA or other regulatory agency requirements.
The AHA’s Heartsaver courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs first aid and/or CPR training and a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. Heartsaver courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared to act in an emergency.
To complete this course you will need to take the online potion using the Heartsaver Total Button.
Be sure to select the HEARTSAVER TOTAL when starting the program. Failure to do so will require you retaking the online portion again at your own expense.
Skills Check
1. After you have completed the Heartsaver Online portion you are able to move on to the skills portion. This gives you the flexibility to complete it at your own pace. This does not include the skills session.
2. Complete the online course and either print out our screenshot the online certificate. (failure to do so will result in cancellation of skills session with no refund).
3. Skills sessions start on time. If you are coming to our location and arrive late you will have to reschedule for another day. Also this is a fast pace course so you are welcome to practice more at the end of the course if needed.
