TeachBLS offers EMSA-approved pediatric first aid and CPR courses for California child care providers. These courses include hybrid learning: certain theory portions may be completed online, but all hands-on skills are completed in-person to satisfy California licensing requirements. Same-day eCards are issued upon successful completion.
The AHA Heartsaver Pediatric course is designed for California child care providers required to maintain EMSA-approved certification. The course consists of 8 total hours: four hours of pediatric first aid theory and four hours of pediatric CPR and skills practice.
Certain portions of the lecture/theory may be completed online with instructor interaction, but all hands-on skills must be completed in-person to comply with California Title 22 licensing requirements. Certification is valid for 2 years, and same-day eCards are issued upon successful completion.
