Stop the Bleed® Training

 Teach BLS offers Stop the Bleed® training based on nationally recognized guidelines developed by the American College of Surgeons. This course teaches participants how to recognize life-threatening bleeding and take immediate, effective action before emergency responders arrive.

This is a hands-on, in-person training offered to the community at no cost.

Participants will practice how to:

• Recognize life-threatening bleeding
   
• Apply direct pressure correctly
   
• Use a tourniquet safely and effectively
   
• Respond confidently in emergency situations
   

This course focuses on doing, not just watching.

 Participants will:

• Practice bleeding control techniques hands-on
   
• Use training tourniquets
   
• Receive instructor guidance and feedback
   

The goal is to leave prepared to act in real emergencies.

This course is appropriate for adults, caregivers, workers, and anyone who wants to be prepared.
